DAYS 1 - 5 DAKAR & GOREE ISLAND

  • Arrival & Culture: Begin with a flight from NYC, arriving in Dakar for a welcome dinner and a visit to the local fabric markets to meet traditional tailors.
  • City Exploration: A deep dive into Dakar’s landmarks, including Independence Square, the Presidential Palace, and the towering African Renaissance Monument.
  • Historical Pilgrimage: A moving ferry ride to Goree Island to visit the House of Slaves, followed by a tour of the IFAN Museum and the Soumedioune craftsmen village.
  • Personal Time: A full day at leisure to explore Dakar at your own pace with our guides and some nightlife.

DAYS 6 - 7 -WILDLIFE & RELAXATION IN SALY

  • Safari Adventure: Head to Bandia Game Park to spot giraffes, rhinos, and buffalo in their natural habitat
  • Coastal Retreat: Transition to the Royam Resort in Saly for a dedicated day of relaxation by the pool or beach. Night time meet up for vibes and music for dinner

DAYS 8 - 10 - Natural Wonders & LOCAL LIFE

  • The Pink Lake: A thrilling ATV ride across sand dunes to witness the rose-colored waters of Lac Rose and observe traditional salt harvesting
  • Market Immersion: Visit the bustling Mbour Market to experience local commerce and daily life.

DAY 11 - Return Journey

  • Departure: Morning transfer to Dakar airport for the return flight to New York, arriving the same afternoon
